The UYA of Canada is a federally chartered non-profit organization established in 1948. Since its inception in 1982, the Mississauga Branch has steadily grown in membership to become one of the larger of 10 Branches in Canada. This success is attributed to the dedication of the Branch to providing its children and youth members between the ages of 5 and 18 with a multifaceted program of regular weekly sessions and activities. These activities comprise of sports, physical fitness, arts, and crafts, educational field trips, seminars, counselling, singing, and musical staging, as well as involvement in community events.

The Trillium Health Partners Foundation is a not-for-profit organization responsible for raising money for the Credit Valley Hospital and the Trillium Hospital from the private sector. The foundation raises money for the purchase of equipment, the improvement of patient care facilities and support for medical research.
